Pr. Meghachou Mourad, Rector of the University of Tlemcen, took part in the eighth meeting of the board of directors of the Pan-African University, which was held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the University of Yaoundé, Cameroon.
It should be noted that the University of Tlemcen is considered a permanent member of the Board of Directors of the African University due to its hosting of the African Institute of Water and Energy Sciences, including climate change, whose director, Prof. Zerga Abdellatif, also participated in the work of the meeting.
These works of the meeting took place in the presence of many dignitaries, in particular Prof. Amani Cherif, Vice-President of the Board of Directors; Dr. Jean-Laurent Sisa MIGAL, Minister of Higher Education of the Central African country; Prof. Kinatha Matongo, President of the University of Windhoek-Namibia; and Prof. Mohamed BELHOCINE, Commissioner Adoulf Mankwa Shei, President of the University of Yaoundé in Cameroon, representatives of the organizations.
During this meeting, Prof. JONH KOLIDIATI was installed as president of the Pan-African University.
